Tweets Of The Day

Since today was kind of slow when it came to music/sports/entertainment news and I didn't post anything I thought I'd post TWO of my favorite tweets of the day instead of the usual one.

The first one comes from #JMHO Favorite, Dom Kennedy who confirmed that "From The Westside with Love 2" will come out in June. I personally cannot wait for this album as I have a strong feeling that Dom is gonna drop the tape of the Summer. #fingerscrossed

My other Tweet comes from the brother of Kevin Durant, Tony Durant. In this tweet you can see the end of Tony's "secret countdown" as he called it, which was really a countdown for the number of shots Russell Westbrook had taken for the night. For anyone who watched the game it was a disappointing display of selfishness shown by Westbrook, as although he had 30 points he needed 30 shots to do it, and took SEVERAL bad shots down the stretch that hurt the Thunders chance of the sweep and the much needed rest they would've received for the next round. What was even more unnerving was the fact that KD also dropped 30 points but only needed 18 shots to do it, and hit a NUMBER of clutch shots and 3's down the stretch to bring the Thunder back into striking distance, but was not able to get the ball when it counted because of Westbrook's hero act. It will be interesting to see in the next couple rounds how this will play out because even though KD's laid back, selfless demeanor is often appreciated by fans and teammates, he cannot differ to ANYONE when it comes to taking the big shots and taking over games if the Thunder are gonna reach their potential this year. It will also be interesting to see what will happen if Russell Westbrook sees Tony D's tweets, because even though he is not a player on the team TD and KD are very close and one would wonder if this could affect chemistry down the line. I'm most likely exaggerating about tonight, and it was probably just an example of a young point guard wanting to be the MAN far too much, but this situation is definitely something for all you NBA fans to watch for in the coming weeks. haha and yes after all that rambling here is the tweet.....

(he counted Westbrook's shots from 1 to 17 before taking a break and tweeting the final count after the game was over. He also tweeted some other controversial thoughts regarding the situation, which I recommend all you NBA heads check out.)
