The D&D Studios Documentary

Alright, I usually don't promote my friends stuff on this site BUT this right here needs to happen. A good friend of mine, Dex Thibou (@unkledex on twitter), is pulling together funds to help start this documentary about D&D studios. For those that don't know, D&D Studios was like the mecca of hip-hop back in the golden age. Almost every track DJ Premier did a beat for was recorded in D&D studios and my boy Dex was either THE recording engineer or the assistant engineer for almost all of those tracks (check your cd booklets if you want proof) . Songs from artists like Jay-Z, Nas, KRS-One, Mos Def, Common, Capone N Noreaga, Snoop, Fat Joe, Xzibit, M.O.P., Gangstarr...the list goes on. This is why I fully support my dude doing this documentary. He's not some random dude that wants to go off of some he said she said stuff, he was THERE day in and day out working with these artists and producers...so you KNOW he knows his stuff and I know the documentary will be an informative/entertaining piece.
