I got a lil thing for Skylar Diggins, and I didn't know until late last night but she's feeling me too (via twitter). So look forward to me getting some better media access and interviews for this blog. My man Rogg got a few SEC gymnasts on lock too so our college sports coverage is looking up. lol but on the real, Notre Dame upset UCONN and I thought y'all should know who the future of the woman's game is for the next two years now that Mia Moore's gone.
I know many of y'all don't care about the WNCAA tournament. But, admire my baby's beauty. Keep in mind she's only 18 here. She got that natural beauty/good girl look going and her Mom looks good too.
Fellaz don't get any ideas!

Limitless
The movie Limitless came out about 3 weeks ago, but I'm at college and have no car so I just watched it last night. Two words-- AH MAZING! It stars Bradley Cooper, and sure we all know him from The Hangover, but it was awesome to see him in a more serious role, with a good bit of action in it as well. Basically in the movie, his character takes a street drug called NZT and BOOM!-- Just like that, he is stricken with amazing focus and his intelligence increases. Imagine, EVERY bit of random information you have ever read suddenly is organized in your brain and becomes useful in your life!
He goes from being an unemployed writer to working in the stock market and becoming an overnight sensation, everybody wants him-- dead or alive. Oh, did I mention Robert DeNiro is also in the movie? That makes it all the better. I would say this movie is similar to Inception but more realistic, it'll definitely play with your mind.
Who is Traceylala?
Hi I'm Tracey! Otherwise known as @traceylala on twitter. I have joined the team here at JMHO to add a girl's point of view in this blog full of men. I'm going to be bringing you updates on fashion, movies, music, current events, concerts and more! I hope you enjoy my posts!
Black Star
Black Star made their return last night at Paid Dues in CA. I'm hoping we see some more of this dynamic combo this summer at Rock The Bells. Soon as we get the lineup believe it will be posted on #JMHO. We're all looking forward to a summer of brew, chicks, vacations, concerts, and rock the bells is on the top of that list. Enjoy the footage.

Self Made
My Favourite Verse
We gave Nardwuar props a few days back now I must give Soul Culture props for their series they have entitled "my favourite verse." I think the idea for this is genius and I might even have to jock them a little if I meet an artist they haven't interviewed yet. They say imitation is flattery right? lol another shoutout to Soul Culture, who I hope we can link up and do some work with in the future. Here's the Boy Wonders favourite verse..
Welcome
I love this song. One of the reasons I started thinking Jcole was more than just a future player in the game but the FUTURE of the game.
So much shit is on my brain, try hard to maintain
Sit and analyze my thoughts sometimes and wonder if I'm sane
Man, it's hard to trust friends, when the paranoia blends
With the marijuana, wonder would this high ever end
Swear I never smoke again, ya'll niggas blow the weed,
Let me take another shot, Men this liquor is all I need
Just to put me in the zone, so far away from home
Nobody truly know me got me feeling so alone
They wonder what's on my mind, what's lingering in my dome
I tell em ain't nothing wrong,
I deal with it on my own
I deal with it on my own
I don't want to go into details of why this was so powerful to me. But I had a lot going on at this time in my life when this song dropped. Maybe me posting this I will be able to spread the blessing. Cole is one of my favorite artist to listen to when I got shit on my mind. Here are some more songs that help me sooth the stress.
We strong cuz the hard times made us into men
Hold up, I gotta say that shit again- I SAID THE HARD TIMES MADE US IN TO MEN
see the man gone stand, with the world as a weight
but the boy gone break only so much he can take
nothing like some pasion on the mic
V-C-U

I am a VCU alumni, and even though this loss hurts, I am still proud of my squad. The city/school have never had this sense of camaraderie and spirit that it exhibited during this run. I feel blessed for my school to make it this far, so for at least once in my life I can feel what the big name schools feel almost every year. I want to personally give the Rams and the city of Richmond a shoutout. Even though I don't live there anymore or go to school there anymore, I WILL FOREVER BE A RAM!

CunninLynguists-Oneirology
The Cunninlynguists have been that one group that I ALWAYS sleep on. They have put out album after album of consistent DOPE material yet they're never on my radar. A few weeks ago, they released another album by the name of "Oneirology" which is another album containing great music.
I've had the strangest luck with them because for the past two releases (Kno's solo album & this one) Kno (@Kno on twitter) has posted a couple free download codes for the albums on twitter and I've just happened to be online at the time to get the codes. Getting free download codes is great...but getting them for AWESOME albums is even better. And once again, CunninLynguists have released an awesome album.
I haven't given this album enough listens to give a rating on it, but I will tell you to check it out because theres a good chance you'll like it. Give these two tracks a listen and let us know what you think.

Big K.R.I.T.-R4 Theme Song
Coming off the Buzz that his (instant classic?) Return of 4ever mixtape has created, K.R.I.T. has dropped an in-studio video for the "R4 Theme Song." If you love hip-hop you gotta appreciate this video, as you can just see how hype everyone is in the studio, and how genuinely happy KRIT is making music. It's very cool to see and I love the fact that an artist like KRIT is finally getting the credit that he deserves. Anyways, stop reading my bullshit and Press Play.
And yes, my review of Return of 4ever is still coming, be on the looooookout for it in the next couple days..
Mac Miller-Get Up
One of my favorite songs off the Best Day Ever mixtape, "Get Up", got the video treatment earlier today, and like most of the videos Mac has put out, it doesn't disappoint. Definitely check this out, and watch the kid do his thing, because like it or not he is BLOWING UP
Smoke DZA-The World
My man Smoke DZA dropped a new video today for his upcoming Album "THC", which was unfortunately pushed back until Monday (supposed to be dropped today). If you are not familiar with Smoke DZA, he's been featured on a number of Curren$y and Big KRIT tracks and as you can guess by his name, his main focus is on smokin that goooood... If you are fan of the sounds of Pilot Talk 1 and 2 as well as KRIT WUZ HERE I would definitely give DZA a listen, as he does not disappoint.

Here is another track that will be included on "THC" titled Always Been, which features the man you either love or hate, but must respect, Mac Miller.
If you enjoyed those videos, then I highly recommend you check out the two mixtapes I have posted below, which were both included in my top 20 mixtapes of 2010, and feature the talents of Smoke DZA and the rest of Cinematic Music Group (Big Krit, Curren$y, Trademark, Mac Miller, etc).
As an added bonus, both of these tapes feature almost exclusive production by both Ski Beatz, and Big KRIT, so you know the beats are gonna be hitting hard...click the links below and give them a listen.

Lonely Stoner

Straight off the presses of Cudi's tumblr
"I dont smoke weed anymore. Ill leave it to the kids. Im 27 with a business to run and i need to be alert and focused with my mind strong. For those who still get it on, smoke one in my memory as your favorite lonely stoner. This is not a joke. I know most of you wanna see me all drugged out and fucked up and i know misery loves company, but im sorry those days are over. I had a good run, Amsterdam and all. Im happy being sober. Im happy being a new me. Giva fuck who thinks of me different, you didnt care about me in the first place if you cant be proud and happy for me for growing and starting a new chapter. Im not your puppet or your tap dancing drug addict here to be your miserable muse, i always made music for me to help myself find understanding. I have finally learned from the words in my songs. I love who loves me and who really cares about me. Learn from this, theres always light at the end of the tunnel. Hell does have an exit, and i found it. For those who are looking for a way out, i left the door open, and ill be waiting for whoever wants to grow with me. Peace and Love, Cudi"
This might be an April Fools joke but I'll post a few of my favorite Cudi song's in memory of the Lonely Stoner
